How to Incorporate Triathlon Training with Burn360
If you're training for a triathlon, you can (and should!) incorporate Burn360 into your training regimen. Weight training has HUGE performance benefits for endurance events, so get ready to watch your performance explode!
The Burn360 workout schedule alternates dumbbell workouts with HIIT cardio workouts. Rest and recovery are also scheduled for you.
Here are some examples of how you might incorporate Burn360 with your triathlon training:
- If you're doing doubles (two workouts in one day), do the Burn360 dumbbell workouts on your lighter days (i.e. single workout days or lighter volume days).
- Skip the Burn360 HIIT cardio workouts and do your tri training on those days instead. For example, you would do three Burn360 dumbbell workouts per week (let's say Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) and do your triathlon training on alternate days (Tuesday, Thursday, and possibly Saturday).
Balancing strength training with endurance training is totally doable and extremely beneficial for both performance AND transforming your body by adding strength, tone, and raising your metabolism for accelerated fat-burning.
